FUTURE FOOD FROM THAILAND
Thai Trade Center in Miami Partners with a Michelin-Starred Chef To Promote Thai Future Food Products
(Miami, FL - October 20th, 2021) — Thailand’s culinary innovation will be getting the gourmet spotlight, as a Michelin-starred chef demonstrates how ‘Thai Future Food’ has a place in kitchens all across America. In collaboration with Thai Trade Center Miami, part of the Thai government’s Ministry of Commerce, Chef Noah Sandoval of the Two-Michelin Starred Oriole in Chicago will kick off the campaign in October with an Instagram cooking demonstration showcasing Oriole’s signature sandwich using plant-based bacon and ham from Thailand.
In November, Chef Sandoval will add his unique spin on Thai Future Food at a culinary event hosted by Thai Trade Center in Miami at Singha Brewery Brickell Center, allowing Miami-based food distributors and social media influencers to taste and share the benefits of Thai Future Food with wider audiences. The event will feature plant-based meat and plant-based seafood from Thailand.
For an IGTV cooking session, Sandoval will be joined by @RestaurantGroupie, a New York based social media influencer. The demonstration will feature plant-based foods from Thailand including meat, ham and cheese. This cooking demonstration experience is a new initiative to introduce the benefits of Thailand’s Future Food products to the United States. The recorded cooking session will also be available here on MPR’s Facebook page.
“We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Chef Sandoval to promote Future Food from Thailand through this campaign, which features the Instagram session and the culinary event in Miami”, said Nithima Siriphokakij, Director of Thai Trade Center Miami. “Thai Future Food products have a lot of potential in the US market. It is a dream come true to have a chef of this caliber to showcase our Thai products.
