Thailand’s South Gets Its Due in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

CLIENT: NORA THAI, NYC  


GOALS: Generate brand awareness for NORA THAI, and southern Thai cuisine.



STRATEGY: 

  • Generate media coverage about the opening of NORA THAI through targeted media pitches. 

  • Organize media launch event in NYC to introduce southern Thai cuisine and culture and coincide with Songkran Thai New Year in April featuring Nora dance and Thailand trip giveaway. 

  • Partnered with like-minded Thai brands like Chang Beer, Summer studio for handmade paper flowers. 

RESULTS: 

  • Secured media top tier media attendees i.e. Michelin Guide, Time Out NY, Resy, Eater, NY Post, ABC7

  • Secured media coverages about southern Thai food, Southern Thai recipe in the NY Times, Michelin Guide, ABC7, Time Out, Forbes with total of 397M media impression
