After over a decade of leading marketing and public relations for the travel and airline industries, Kate recognized the need for a dedicated, personalized PR professional with a keen awareness of cross-cultural communication and media relations. Initially, she founded Milestone PR to elevate her Thai clients’ efforts in communication strategy, brand building and positioning strategies in the U.S. market. Since 2016, Milestone PR’s client list grew from a luxury resort in Phuket to a river cruise and fine dining restaurants, rooftop bars and hotels in Bangkok to Michelin-starred restaurants in Bangkok & NYC and governmental agencies in the U.S.

Kate’s genuinely pleasant personality and easy-going manner have helped her secure and build strong, lasting relationships with myriad media outlets and film executive producers. During her time with the New York office of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), she spearheaded the hosting of various high-impact broadcast TV shows in Thailand, including “The Bachelor”, “The Bachelorette” (ABC), “The Getaway” (Esquire Network), “Steve Harvey Show” (NBC), and “Better Late Than Never” (NBC) which showcased the country as a luxurious and adventurous destination.

Her impactful PR efforts and relationships with the media have earned coverage for her clients in The New York Times, USA Today, National Geographic, Departures, Forbes, Vogue, Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Time Out New York and many more.

Given her extensive public speaking engagements and leadership, Kate has been a spokesperson for her organizations and clients on countless TV interviews and emceed large public events in the U.S. She also developed and hosted Thai­licious, the web-­based, culinary­-themed video series for TAT, offering a closer look at the bountiful flavors of Thai cuisine (2014), which reached 1.5 million Facebook consumers.

Kate graduated with her MPA from Seton Hall University and BA in Political Science, International Relations from Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand. She was awarded among the Rising Stars – Top Young Travel Industry Professionals 35 and Under by travAlliance media in 2012.
