CLIENT: SRI PANWA, PHUKET
GOAL: Establish Sripanwa brand in the US market as the most desirable & luxurious resort in Thailand and Phuket as the most romantic destination in the world.
STRATEGY:
Showcase the luxurious and romantic attributes of Sripanwa in a major TV show in the US.
Pitched and secured Sri panwa as the “Meet the Bachelorette Family” location for the season finale episode of ABC’s The Bachelorette.
Managed the entire process including planning activities, negotiating trade-out agreement, attending the filming for several days on-site and managing all media outreach.
Results:
On August 1st, 2016, Sri panwa was featured on season 12 of ABC’s hit romance reality series - Bachelorette. The episode showcased the beautiful island of Phuket and the awe-inspiring modern luxury pool villa with breathtaking panoramic view of the Andaman Sea at Sri panwa
Sri panwa’s stunning 5-bedroom oceanfront pool villa and property grounds were featured on the show with on-air mentions, multiple signage shots and verbal mention of the property name.
This was one of the most cost-effective initiative since the hotel only have to give up one of 5-bedroom villa in exchange for the exposure instead of 70-80 rooms as the show would normally asked for.
More than 8.43 million viewers tuned into the one-hour finale episode, creating a PR ad value of over $24 million.
